Dr. Carey Yazeed is a distinguished scholar, thought leader, and passionate advocate for social change. With a Ph.D. in Higher Education Leadership and Research from Louisiana State University, Dr. Yazeed has dedicated her career to exploring the significance of psychological safety and vulnerability with diverse groups, while making significant contributions to the fields of work culture and employee relations. As a dynamic speaker and educator, Dr. Yazeed has inspired countless individuals through her engaging workshops and presentations. She is known for her ability to connect with diverse audiences, fostering meaningful discussions around trauma in the workplace. In addition to her academic pursuits, Dr. Yazeed is actively involved in community outreach, working to empower underrepresented voices and to promote equity. When she is not engaged in research or speaking, Dr. Yazeed enjoys spending time with her fur baby’s, searching for the perfect find at Goodwill, and watching movies on Tubi. She is a native and resident of South Louisiana, and a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
